![]() It's a rather gimmicky part of the game and don't tell me for a second that the big military ship somehow doesn't have a single energy recharge station on it. My biggest disappointment in the game would be The Rickenbacker. It's such an unbalanced weapon it's funny. A fully modded Assault Rifle will make minced meat out of any enemy in the game. What kind of build did you commit to this game? The easiest ticket out of this game is to level up Standard Weapons up to 6 and get the Assault Rifle. The backtracking as I've said before can be really annoying, especially if you ignored the researching function until the very end of the game. The Many level is just way too confusing and frustrating, the physics work against you almost too much. When everything in your inventory counts, having your wrench miss the spiders body as it takes chunks out of your health repeatedly is just frustrating, the monkeys especially where it's very obvious. Obviously for an older game it seems like I'm just nitpicking, but the hitboxes for certain enemies like the Spiders melee combat wise are just terrible. It isn't just the rushed later levels in the game where they had to cut out certain elements where you can pinpoint the problems. If you're going that route, have something to help you out: And make for some interesting ways to adjust the game too. Incidentally there's some basic modding for System Shock 1 as well. It'll probably improve your experience several-fold. A few rebalances are in order too because a lot of weapons, items and skills in the game are way too niche if not outright useless while others are no-brainers. One example would be a mod which lets you return to the Von Braun up until the point of ejecting from the Rickenbacker. System Shock 2 needs a few mods to give it it's best.
